Gentle Yoga

Saturdays, 10:30-11:30a

This gentle, all levels class, allows us to move slowly through our postures (asanas), creating space to better settle into each shape. Classes will focus on balance, flexibility, strength and of course, breath.

Healing Yin

This beautifully healing, all levels class allows one to gently release physical and emotional tension and stress by stretching the connective tissue around the joints and strengthening bone. In fact, it's one of the best forms of physical activity to help prevent bone loss, and to help reverse that loss if it's begun. Deeply meditative and relaxing; postures are held 2-5 minutes utilizing props such as blankets, bolsters and cushions and done while either seated or lying down. It's like a massage from the 'Yin'side out.


Restorative Yoga

Wednesday 6:30p


Restorative yoga offers the opportunity to completely reset physically, mentally, and our bodies are supported by comforting props such as pillows, bolsters, and blankets.It is particularly beneficial to those recovering from injury and/or trauma. All you have to do is come as you are, prepared to settle into a serene environment, and just 'Be'.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) is an ancient method of mindful meditation where the body and mind are in a deep state of relaxation.Studies have shown a single hour of Yoga Nidra to be as restful as four hours of conventional sleep. During this session you will be fully guided to this deep state of relaxation through a gentle process of breath awareness and body scanning allowing the release of physical, mental, and emotional tensions all while getting as comfortable as possible supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, and pillows. No prior yoga or meditation experience is required and no special clothing needed.
